Wheel center for the C6 era should still be 57.1 like the D3. The cars shared a lot of things in drivetrain area.
For others, yes 66+mm is current std. for LARGER Audis, but it remains in use for anything on the Golf platform--Golfs, Jettas, etc, but also A3, tt Q3, etc. Was on Gen 1 R8 too ,and oddly I think still is in front of gen 2 R8 but NOT back.
On that question for the A6, my reaction is still be careful and do a test fit. A6 C bodies always used a numerically high offset unless fenders were flared (like C5 A6 4.2 or old C5 allroad). Offsets in the mid 30's on an 8.5 wheel are more likely coming from a Q5 or A5, and those are going to be the larger hub center that started with those B8 based models and then spread with the generation changes to D4, C7 and finally Q7 gen 2.
