Passenger Airbag Off - can you vag this out?

I ended up sticking some semi-gloss black electrical tape over the offending, way-too-bright Passenger Airbag Off light. If you get just the right tape and are careful in the application it's not as grotty as it sounds. Now my night vision isn't runied anymore.
