I got it to work through my Belkin iTrip adaptor today, but I'm not sure if the AMI kit will allow me to use the audio from a non-ipod program on my iphone. (assuming I ever get the AMI kit delivered that is)

For the iphone folks who have yet to try it, do yourself a favor and download Pandora from the app store on iTunes.....and then do me a favor and see if it will play through the head unit.

I tried it. Unfortunately it does not work with AMI. Only IPod functions can be accessed through AMI.

The Pandorea service is great though

....but I LOATHE using the FM transmitter to play it.

Thanks for the heads up though, I won't get my hopes up too high.

Yes - pandora works fine. I also have the belkin charger/transmitter for my 05 A8L. It plays pandora fine through the speakers. I've been using it since it was first released earlier this month.

Do you have the AMI, or just use the Belkin transmitter? I'm hoping it will work with AMI.

it can work -- if you delete all of the songs on the iphone
