Rear inner tail light problem again!

Rear inner tail light problem again!
So my “Brake light” warning as been showing on my dash for a few weeks, intermittently, and I decided to take a look at it today.
These first 3 pictures are my lights when plugged into the main connector that plugs into the main harness. They are quite dim. I’m using a 9 volt battery for testing, using gator clips to hook onto the pins.
This picture is if I connect my clips directly to the led board. Much brighter!
So it all narrows down to this connector not having good connections from corrosion. This light has been getting quite a good amount of water in it the last couple weeks. (The Midwest blows). I need to find a way to get this connector undone without breaking. I need some tips for that.
(Yes I know I’m missing tons of leds, but I plan on taking the good leds from my old light, and soldering then onto this one)

So I eventually got the clip undone without breaking it, and turns out it could be the connections from the connector to the board. I tested the pins inside the connector, and no change, then I tested the pins directly on the board, and same outcome.
Maybe try to solder a new connector on it? But don’t want to really waste money on it if it doesn’t work. Anyone have a spare board lying around they would sell? It’s the rear right inner tail light.
