Rear seat Entertainment
Anybody retro fitted rear screens? I have bought a DTV tuner so wanted to add rear screens while I am at it. Not too fused about having them installed in the headrests so open to ideas. What have you got?

Here is what I did in my last A8. This will be a whole lot easier to install than trying to retro-fit an Audi RSE system. And as one who now has a W12 with the RSE, what I had before was easier to use and more versatile.
A company called Vizualogic makes DVD player/monitor combo. And they sell the headrests for them. And they can get matching Audi leather...my car had Amaretto leather and that is impossible to match, but they did. The headrest was not OEM in shape, but it was way more comfortable than stock.
Each headrest has a pop-open player and the same DVD can be watched on both, or each player can play a different DVD. Its the way to go.

Audi OEM RSE came in two flavors: Alpine and Blaupunkt. It seems that Alpine version can be controlled by remote only (not from MMI console).
I have schematics and part numbers for Alpine, so if you will be interested in this version, please let me know and I may be able to help you.

Alpine
I did. You will need some other parts, not just the DTV tuner.
