Seat Control Module Part # Issue
Hello, seeking some help and advice.
Need to replace my Power seat control module.
(See attached picture.)
When I run the two part numbers at geunine Audi Parts, the top number returns no results, the lower number produces a result for almost the correct description, however, the part is listed as for a non-vented seat. My seat has heating and ventilation, as per the actual vehicle information per the VIN.
When I search the Audi parts site using my VIN, I get a different part number for the seat controller; 4E0910772A
On the phone with the dealer I have also recieved two different results.
I intend to take the actual part in to the dealer on Monday, however I am a bit mystified.
Has anyone had any experience with varying part numbers?

But he has vented seats and presuming this is the part originally fitted to his car, that ^^^^ info doesn't make sense.
The actual part number is the top number. The second number prefixed with "SW: refers to the SoftWare version/part no. installed in the module. Only dealerships have access to this with their online VAS systems.
Dropping 4e0959760b into google brings up loads of eBay listings for this part with the exact same part and sw numbers. Presuming the module was working ok before and is now faulty (looks like it's had coffee or something spilled over it ) I would always go with a like for like part no. match over trusting the accuracy of an online part description.

Thank you for your inputs.
Yes, the module was working, was original; prior to the 44 OZ. Dr. Pepper bath
I sent the picture to a Dealer in GA. and got it all worked out, for 25% less than my local dealer. Go figure.
So hopefully it all goes back together fairly seamlessly.
I am sure I will be back here trying to get all the coding correct through the VAG-Com. Since the log is completely full of red after the spill.

Thanks again,
Asking for a little more help.
I am attaching a photo of the two parts, original and the part purchased at direction of the dealer.
This part matches the number local dealer gave, numbers are not completely exact.
Anyone know if this is ok to install?

The part numbers, including SW version are identical. The "03" and "0010" numbers you see are not associated with the part numbers.
The new unit should be good to go.
