Splashguards Here >Scott in Cincy

I knew splashguards/ mud flaps were not too popular but I did install them on my 06 A8L to lessen the sandblast effect on the paint finish. The roads here in New England can be rough on the car certain times of the year. The splashguards work very well and are simple to install or remove if you decide you wanted them off. They are made exactly for this car and use the existing screw holes that are now used to hold the carpet in the wheelwells. Audi has a full paint finish on the running board area right under the side of the car. This paint can get damaged more easily in comparison to my 740IL which has a black roughened running board down each side, no splashguards on that car. Check out my picture poster for the shots.

They look good - and practical. Needed them on every car we've
owned especially ones we keep in the mountains. I want to drive the A8 up there more so me thinks I will get them too. Were they from the regular Audi catalog?

Thanks!
I think I'll get them myself (despite opinions to the contrary from others), but I'm waiting to see how much tire splash I actually get. It was bad on my A6 4.2, but not as bad on my S4.
Thanks for the pic!
