I had the same symptoms in my 04 with 141K and it was my starter. The job took my mechanic 5 hours and the new starter was $450.00 now she starts all the time.

Thanks everyone for the advise really do even tho It kills me to not be able to post. How its done and even more that. U guys were right .now I'm worried about getting raped going somewhere to get it done I get paid tommarow and there goes my pay check for labor this sucks I wish one of u guys lived in ct

Woke up earlyier then normal big day for me with the starter hope everything turns out ok , this weather is perfect for the car but not for working on it ,I'll get a good thread here if everything goes right

Altinators off coolent came pouring out I thought those two weird bracets were just metal next thing I know fluid everywhere

Alternator is liquid cooled. But why are you pulling it off/disconnecting the coolant tubing from it? No need to touch the alternator when removing the starter.
