Default Steering Column Button
My 2004 A8 L has an additional button on the dash side of the column adjust button, on the column. Can anybody tell me what this 2nd button does?

It cancels/enables the easy entry/exit function that swings the wheel up when you turn the car off and returns it when you start the car. Mine doesn't work that well, so i just leave it off.

Yeah, it's useless, anyone who would need that feature would have the wheel at it's highest position (or a few mm off) in normal driving.

If you are thinking about easy entry/exit function than I wouldn't agree. My wheel is at the lowest position, as my seat is and easy entry/exit function is just great.

+5 but -1. It would be great, if it worked. It only goes up and I can exit but never comes back down on start up. So I just disabled it. Pretty annoying that it does not work. I loved the feature on my W211.
