Final diagnosis and remediation is complete for this issue. The problem was the Valve control module (G291) having incorrect values stored in the computer. According to the dealer not something that could be fixed/overridden with software. Had to replace the part.. $90 for the part on Ebay and 2hrs labor later the car is back in order.

The solution here is suppose to be a re-calibration right? I mean no disrespect to anyone. This solution does not make sense to me. The G291 is the air suspension valve block (it contains valves and a pressure sensor). This does not contain any memory.

From what I have read, dealers would often replaces this part.

DiagnosisUnkown quotes a dealer but dealers are not known to install non-factory parts or parts sourced by a customer.

Perhaps somebody out there with experience with this valve block can shed some light.

Is a faulty valve block known to cause errors in calibrating the suspension? Or is this one of this things that when replaced just fixes leveling issues.....

Calibration never fixes anything only break more things. I'm not sure he fixed it with only calibration. If the controller can't fix the leveling, noway voodooing with the vcds could fix it.
Cheers,
Louis
