Default Upgraded my MMI DVD to version 5 yesterday

It took about 3 minutes and I didn't have any problems. I haven't had a chance to see how much more info is available for the areas I've had issues with ;-)

Default I have the exact same versions that you posted

Now for the Nav versions:
Media Version: USA-0740-2093
Databank Version: 288/20050217114407

As to the question of should you update: how much do you use the nav and have you found it deficient in your area?

I do bike rides in a lot of small towns in N. Texas and coverage was horrible. I'll see this summer if this upgrade was worth it.

I got confused when you said MMI DVD vs NAV DVD. How much was new DVD? No address issues.....

Default No problem, MMI DVD is how it's labelled.

Price was $199 plus tax and shipping.

Ordered it from Navteq. There was a link to it from the My Audi page.
