Default V71 and J520 errors

Good morning, Gentlemen!

First I'd like to apologize for asking stupid questions... But first time I scanned the car and first time I see errors in my life. When some errors are not concern (I think) the other makes me worry (08-Auto HVAC and 38-Roof Electronics)
Have someone seen such errors and what would be the process to fix them?
Thanks a lot

You should save those codes to a log file and clear them. Than you will see if any of them comes back. Most likely none of them.

Default Note the date and miles (km) on the HVAC one

The HVAC one is quite stale by mileage and date. Sunroof is newer but may just be more random noise. The obvious problem ones are when you clear it and it comes right back onto your screen, immediately or after the next drive or two; even the sunroof one is a few months old now.

There I have a question: is that date when that fault was first or last time detected?

Last detection time.
Fault frequency indicates how many times the DTC occurred.

Yesterday, before cleaning the errors I opened the AC Cabin filter and found true mechanical failure. The filter was deformed and was interfering with flap movement. The car could not close it in full and rather left it always open. After removing the filter and starting the car it fully closed the flap and reopened it in full. I had new filter so I replace it and erase the errors.

Now, few observations:
I read description provided by Jake http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/dtc_screen.html , but it does not say anything about Date on the error. But instead I can confirm the data stamp is actually when it First Occurred. The reason why I'm 100% sure is following. First of all it is logical (you better know when it failed first time rather than have it each time re-set). Second when I looked at my records the failure occurred same day when the filter was replaced (Date: 2011.06.09). It definitely proves the date represent the first occurred event.

Second interesting observation:
For some reasons VAGCOM shows lover mileage then actually car shows on the dash. And it is consistent about 2K less (I have odometer record when the filter was replaced as well... It is about 2K difference between error log. Also when I start VAGCOM it is reading current mileage and it is 2K KM less then I see on the dash as well). What does it mean? Do you think the A8 is trying to hide her age like real woman?

I stand corrected.
That does make more sense.

On the mileage I believe the computer estimates it based on wheel pulses like Nav uses.
It is designed to prevent roll backs. http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/EDC-15-Mileage.html
