07 A8, how do you leave car running and lock the doors with the keyless start? Thanks in advance...Flats

Pretty sure you can't lock the car if you and your keys are outside of the car when it is running. The car will signal that the keys are not in the car anymore as well. Designed as a safety feature to not lock your keys in the car etc I believe I am correct on this post.

Try manually locking the door after it's running using the physical key hole in the door handle (visible when you lift up on it).

Never tried it with the 2007 W12 but I used the key hole once when I had the 2004 A8L.
