Order Guides For 2008 Are Out
Order guides for the 2008 A8L are out. They came out on the 22nd of June and I placed my order on the 23rd. It appears it is the first consumer 2008 A8 for the US. :-)

Where is your dealer? I want to order one right away....
my dealer is unaware of the ordering guide for the 2008 A8L being issued yet. They attended an Audi meeting last week and the lack of an ordering guide was discussed. My 3 year lease runs out at the end of August so I'd like to order right now rather than extend my lease and continue to have no warranty coverage (I'm over 50K miles...).
When does your ordered vehicle go into production? Delivery date to your dealer?

2008 Order Guides
There don't appear to be any significant changes. But the dealer didn't have any photos of the 2008. I was told earlier that a minor face lift was being performed and some tweeking to the tail lights. One new body color: Cherry Red and two body colors with minor changes (names and slight tint). The door closure is now a sparate option and the Ipod connection is a standard feature. I don't remember anything else changing except for a slight increase in base price. I ordered through HBL Audi of Tysons in the DC metro area. My contact pestered Audi for weeks and they finally just faxed the info directly to him. I will have the first 2008 A8L delivered to the US for a consumer. Some corporate order beat me to the first. I expect a three month assembly, so that will put it mid/late September
