Great place to dial in your car, was inexpensive, and lots of fun, but I won't tease anyone too much; here are the time slips.

I know this is a old post, great job on specs! How have the car been reliability wise for you? I'm looking at a 2013 A8 4.0T with 59k miles on it

I ditched this car sometime in early 2019 when I was gunshy about the twin turbo issues (oil screen). I moved to a 3.0T Q7 and haven't looked back. The car was really reliable and I really liked it. the trunk space kind of sucked and you couldn't fold down the rear seats, other than expensive tires and brakes I really liked it.

I was tuned after I ran those passes and because there was no turbo (oil screen) recall at the time I got nervous and got rid of the car. Now there is a recall and it has been extended to like 10 years and 150K miles or something so it's not really an issue (tuned or not). in all reality the car was great for someone who wants a land yacht to eat up highway miles insanely fast but the 3.0T Q7 gets almost the same MPGs and has been equally reliable with way more passenger and cargo space so I cannot complain. a touch better in the snow too with the ground clearance. it drives almost nicer around town and in tight spots because of the 4 wheel steering and it also tows what I need it to tow.

I was always against SUVs but the Q7 changed that.
best of luck if you decide on an A8L, they are awesome cars.
