About to take my car in for a repair to the exhaust system to eliminate a vibration that occurs periodically.

Has anyone had this repair done and did it eliminate the vibration.

i just don’t see how the exhaust can cause the type of vibration I’m getting.

feels like all my wheels are out of balance or all tires have belts broke or something.

Anyone have experiences with this?

4.0 engine? It so maybe a flex pipe issues. Lot's of posts on the forum around this. See link below.

Just got the car back.....vibration/shuttering is still there. It starts at about 55 mph

the service guy said the technician said the tires are choppy. Never heard that term before.

Just went to discount tire and they balanced the tires....they said they couldn’t balance the driver rear...I said “can’t be balanced...WTF does that mean”. I told them to pull it apart and 4 noise cancellation foam blocks were loose inside the tire.

Thats what was causing the vibration.
