Thanks, VRC! As for the rings in front- I mean the 4 ring emblem in the grill; mine lights up so I assume everyone's does. For the ones blacking them out, I was wondering if they still light up and can you see it?

Ah ha. Now I understand. What you have is an aftermarket lighted ring setup and not and OEM option.

Really? I had no idea- I just thought they all did that! Well, it is peeling now...its probably got wires and such, what a pain that's going to be. I might just black it out, its not like I can see it anyways.

There are SO many reasons that the S8+ isn’t an RS car, not just the lack of oval exhaust. The biggest reason is that THIS is the RS 8 and Audi didn’t make it.




The S8+ is an S8+, and that’s really cool. Plus models are more rare than RS anyway. No need to pretend it’s something it isn’t.

I’m just about as much of a purest as can be and I’m pretty against badge engineering- I think a Plus badge would be cooler but I don’t think the RS badge is completely tasteless. It’s definitely much better than the M badges on 4-cylinder BMW or RS on an A4 that are seen so often. At the very least you applied it correctly. And not like:
