Buy vs lease question
Ok, so I have an opportunity to buy a '15 A8 with 2500miles being marketed as a CPO for just over $71k. Original MSRP was $86k. I know I can get new (assuming I can find a nwb) for 6% off plus $4000 loyalty as the cap cost on a lease. Lease with $3000 down would be about $1100/mo for 3 yrs. On the buy I would do $15 to $25k down ($15 of that is a trade) would be around $850 to $1000 Depending on term of finance. I'm attracted by the deep discount off MSRP for a car with only 2500 miles but don't like the big cash up front. Flip side is that I own the car vs turning in for another round of being on the wheel with a lease if a new car.

Depends on whether or not you want a new one in 3 years. If you think you might want to swap it out in a couple years, I say go with the lease. If you plan on keeping it for a while, I say go with the CPO, all else being equal.
