Any idea when the newly designed A8 will be available in Canada?

Spring 2018 A8 launch scheduled for U.S. market, so probably similar for Canadian market. Pricing likely released late this coming November or December. Early Demo vehicles (possibly euro spec) could show up in North America by late Fall or early Winter.

I'm certain of the Spring 2018 launch, but everything prior to that is my "educated" guess. As a caveat on the Spring launch---we could see a possible delay until Summer 2018 IF there is an issue with government certification glitches regarding engines, matrix headlights (laser this time) and sequential turn signals --both of which did not make it to the U.S. on the D4, or Canada IIRC. The S8 is currently scheduled for a Summer 2018 launch.

You're entirely welcome, but let's see how it all plays out. This scheduled North American launch could hit some timing snags.

Probably a moot point at this time, but can you confirm that US will be getting A8L only; no A8.

On that I can't confirm based on any direct knowledge...Only what I've read in the press that U.S. only gets the A8L, not the NWB A8. The only imported NWB would be S8 Plus (doubt we'll get the base S8 here).
