Can someone who has added a dipstick do me a favor? Trying to get the correct billet one from ECS but there are multiple lengths depending on the model year (I guess the pan depth or dipstick tube location is slightly different on the D4 MY).

For someone who has 2014 or newer take a measurement from the tip to the top where it bottoms out on the tube? I think it should be right around 17” to be correct.

I bought an OEM one for my car. The overall length from where it bottoms on the tube to the tip is 17½" From where it bottoms on the tube to the MAX mark is 16 5/8" and to the MIN mark is 17 1/8". Mine reads at MAX with MMI showing the same.
