Please search to understand what these rotors are. I have posted on it many times. In general, you are wasting your time looking for them, so study up first.

I've used Centric rotors on many of my cars. Including my A8 and wife's Q7, all without issue.

For daily driven cars I default to Akebono brake pads when an option. They are an OEM supplier for many manufacturers.
There are probably higher quality solutions then those I've listed but these tend to have a high quality to price ratio.

How much for a set of front rotors and pads using Centric equipment?

Same answer... Wild goose chase except for maybe one size from maybe one brand backdooring the OE. Proprietary quasi two piece factory design for D4 fronts. Not just a slam bang, web click, presto thing. STFA.
Or, best (lousy) case, bulk front of car up by better part of 10 pounds per wheel unsprung weight on some aftermarket kludge retrofit of a non-factory spec and design cast iron rotor, if even findable. Or alternative C, might as well go J.C. Whitney at that point for the random product du jour shipped out in a 70-80 pound broken up box...that will need be returned. That is most likely the sober result anyway from web sites claiming they can "fix you up reeeeeeal good" as the old run, don't walk caricature goes. All goes back to first paragraph.

Rich, We may well be a "tough crowd" at times, but you'll get some seriously good advice around here. Your choice whether you follow it, or not.
I'd suggest, if you're going to hang out here (and I suggest you do!), that you write a 'signature block' with all your vehicle info right there - year/model/engine/packages/etc. That information is KEY to figuring out what's wrong and how to fix it, as well as for your current parts inquiry and it never hurts to re-state that in your posts. Current miles on the odometer helps a lot, too.
I've been an A8 owner for about two years and one thing I've learned is this - don't skimp on parts. If it's a $100 part at the dealer and you've found it for $19.95, just pass it by and find an OEM (Lemforder, etc.) part from a source you read about here. Lots of good "I found it here..." posts. These are flagship models that sell/sold for a $hitload of money. You can buy the $250 rotors, or you can buy the $150 rotors twice. Your call...
Hope you love your car and have some fun tinkering with it, too! I know I do!!!
