Default HEADREST RATTLE FIXED!! CHEAP!!!

Hello all. FIXED! Headrest rattle FIXED! CHEAP!! So, I fixed my headrest rattle by stuffing a medium sized piece of cloth inside of it. I sat in the back seat and went through the pad at the top of the headrest which can be pried up just enough to stuff the cloth in there. And poof, no more headrest rattle. Happy, happy. Joy, joy!!

How does that affect the headrest going up and down though 🤔

On a side note, BOTH my passenger and drivers side headrests have a rattle now, curious if it's the same piece that's broken off in both.

Side side note, is that an Audi sourced cloth? If not those heathens at the dealership might void your warranty...😂😂lol

Well I have a D4 model and I don't see a specific way to make the headrest go up and down - but being that it's the passenger side, I don't really care. I placed the cloth inside the headrest strategically so that I can quickly pull it out if necessary.

I've got a rattle in my front passenger side headrest too. I assume this happened while I was away for 2 weeks and the car sat in the hot sun and something melted and came loose. I have thought about drilling a small hole and filling it full of Flex Foam. Any thoughts?
