How to enable rear camera Audi A8 D4
I check with two dealers, and my car has a rear camera.
I mean, I can see physically the rear camera.
I used VCDS to enable it, but it only shows a blank screen (black).
Can someone point me to what to do here?
Any other thing I should be looking at?
Thank you,

The camera lense is not covered
just found out yesterday how to
- add a new module in the can bus.
- check for the new module.
The rear camera module does not show up. It gives errors that the Can bus cannot communicate with it.
So, I will physically check tomorrow.

Rear Camera
So, I bought the part in eBay (4H0907441).
Asked the dealer the location of the module. It was in the trunk. In the panel separating the passenger compartment and the trunk.
When I opened, I found a DATA CENTER there!!!
It was as easy as popping in the new module and connecting the Data connector and the two camera cables. They were wrapped from factory in plastic, and zip tied in place.
Also I found a very large module underneath the Bose module, with 3 camera-like cables going to it. I don't know what it is.
Then turned to VCDS. It was not cooperating. So I used the green MMI menu to make it work. I think I forgot to add the module in the CAN bus in the VCDS and in the green menu is all I did.
The camera is working now. Yay!!!
I also noticed that the car has 4 other cameras. One on each door handle.
Does anyone know about this?

There are no cameras in the door handles. On North American cars there are 4 total cameras. One in the back, one in the front grill, and one on each mirror. Also if you have adaptive cruise control there is a front facing camera in the rear view mirror housing.
