How To Remove The Permanent Grin ??
Today was the first day since I bought the Beast that I could take an hour and find some twisties. Here in Western PA twisties are everywhere, so it only takes 5-10 minutes from home to start the party.
In Dynamic mode with my fingers positioned on the paddles, I took off. Holy ****!!! This car grips corners like a joey clings to his mom; then hyper-thrusts itself to the next apex. I can't imagine how the acceleration must feel like in an S8 as I was never at a want for more power. Weight transitions from left-right then back again are absolutely seamless... does this car have ANY body roll? O-M-G did I have fun. What a suspension!! What a drive train!! I slowed down after about 30 minutes, the grin on my face fixed in position. I'm writing this 2 hours later and it's still there. Yup, just checked the mirror....still there.....

Which car is this? Couldn't be the 8 series lol... If you think this handled well then you must have been driving Lincoln's all your life 😁. Haha anyway jokes aside this handled decent for a boat but glad you really enjoyed it
I enjoy my s8 everyday... I've put over 50k miles on mine now in just over a year... So I really enjoy mine

I have a 2014 short wheelbase A8 4.0t. It has APR stage one, S8 rear sway bar, 20x10.5 wheels with Michelin PS4 tires. This car is no slouch, in Dynamic, shifting automatically it consistently rips a 3.6 second 0-60 time. As far as being in the twisties I have discovered that the body roll while present, is NOT an indicator of how fast it can be pushed. The tires have definitely added to its capabilities by a significant margin.
I sometimes think about trading it but the car has been dead reliable, comfortable and is easy on the eyes. It has 20,600 miles on it. I think Audi nailed it with the D4 SWB 4.0. Drive one and you will be grinning too!
