I like using add-a-circuits rather than these things because the ones you posted tend to stretch out the contact points if you ever choose to go back to stock and then you will get sporadic connection and a pain to chase down.
On pretty much every vw audi that I add low current accessories to I just wire in to the back side of the obd plug. There is always constant, ground and ignition there.
