That is a nice setup. It would require running a wire along the entire inside length of the car though - that is a lot of trim to remove and not mess up. That could be like $800.
I am not an installer but on my own, I just did two A119 (the "S" version is blurrier and not as good). With the new 3.3 firmware, it has a real park mode, which you seem to be after. When it doesn't feel any motion for 1.5 minutes, it goes into park mode automatically. It stays on, and will record when it sees motion. When it feels any bump, it goes back to normal mode. Also, this cam is a real 1440P, and they are about to come out with a dual-exposure HDR mode that will keep night-time license plates from being over-exposed.
The Spytec version is best as it has no logos on the front. They are $90 each with GPS from Amazon. It would be easier to wire if the car has a fusebox in the back also, which it probably does.
I would set the Power Magic Pro on 12.5 volts. I will be using these to do the same thing: Low Voltage Cut off Protection Board Automatic Recovery Module 12V Battery NEW eBay
And then you use an Add-A-Fuse with a 5 amp fuse, and go into an always-on circuit (I am using the Alarm fuse). Also need a "hardwire kit" which converts the 12v to USB power.
