Well I'm now an owner of 3 different Audi models and just joined the D4 club. Really enjoying the vehicle so far, especially the massaging seats and the ACC/stop-go functionality.
Car came for Audi as a 1-owner vehicle and has service records from day 1 - amazingly well maintained.
Couple of quick questions:
What all-weather mats do you all recommend?
I'm going to start look at MMI mirroring on my mobile phone...any starter links?
My '15 A8L came with the Audi A8 All-weather mats. Have not had any issues with them. I have a set of WeatherTech in a Lexus and the Audi OEM are as durable. I have seen the Audi All-weather advertised a lot cheaper than the Weather-Tech.

Question: I can see on the first pic that you have a front camera for the parking aid.
I got the same but I don't know why it does seem to be active.
When I reverse park the rear one is activated with the dynamic lines, but nothing from the front.
Am I missing something ?
DAMNIT! This is the exact spec that I wanted, and I KNEW it would pop up after I bought mine. I just picked up an Oolong Gray 15 L 3.0 in May... Not a fan of the color. At least it has the sports package. Congrats on your's and have fun with that 4.0, that thing was a beast when I test drove one locally.

Mine is '13, I think they are the same.
If you reverse, you should be able to use the rotary **** to select which camera view you want. (correct me if I am wrong)
or if you want the front real quick (not reversing), you could always click that parking aid button.
I have noticed that the ‘13 and ‘14 3.0T models have the rounded exhaust tips.
Do both years have the exhaust (muffler) valve/flap on the left that opens and closes? Haven’t seen this flap on the ‘11-12 MY with the 4.2 engine. I notice during colder weather vapor out of the right but not left tip, and was unsure what that exhaust flap is for.

Congrats on your new A8l, it's really good looking. I got a 2015 A8L 4.0T about a month ago. My criteria was at least MY 2015, Audi/Bentely designed 4.0 liter, CPO, under 30k miles, the auto cruse option you know with the radar and stuff. Sorry I can't remember the name of the option but I got almost every one. I didn't get the rear seat option (adjustable rear seats) or the solar or panoramic roof, sport diff. but like I said it's nicely equipped. I wanted the S8 but taxes here in Connecticut are a killer and I just could swing it with my budget. As you can see I'm not savvy with the way this site works as this is my first post. The pictures are of the 3DMAXpider floor mats for 2011-2016 A8L. They fit really nice. I had the Audi all weather floor mats and I couldn't believe Audi would put something like those in a car of this caliber. To me the Audi all weather floor mats are cheesy looking and I hated them. To me the 3D mats are a step up in looks and quality, they fit perfectly. It was raining when I took the pics this morning and the sun hadn't come up yet. If you want to see more I can either post them or send you more. I got them from Walmart for $215 but you might be able to get them cheaper.
