Default New to me S8 -- what a car...

After 10 great (mostly) years in a 2005 A8L, I decided to upgrade to a 2014 S8 with 24k miles. I have been looking for a year and wanted a very specific color combo -- black exterior with tan seats and black carpet. I found the perfect the match in Orlando and promptly made an offer. After I got it home (Nashville) I did some necessary servicing / upgrades:
1. New pads / rotors (EBC pads)
2. Fixed the previously installed K40 radar and jammer
3. Complete front end Suntek film protection
4. Paint coating with Crystal Serum

Pictures are attached -- can't say enough about the Crystal Serum coating. The finish is incredibly smooth and the hydrophobic qualities are off the charts. Time will tell on it's durability but I'm impressed so far.

This car is a monster -- incredibly fun and fast. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the education, most appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful and no pesky and unsightly front plate. More pics appreciated. Interior too w/ list of options, price etc? If you please.
I'm into the new paint coatings and what they can do I've got some nano ceramic coating, but haven't used it yet.

Nothing personal , but I unfortunately take a little of offense to that statement. Yes, please do enjoy in good health, or any health life deals you.
I'm 5 months past my expiration date according to some doctors, but am still enjoying the heck out of mine. While mines only the A8L, I look for excuses to drive it. Next big trip will be 7-800 mile. It's the only car right now I can set to comfort and drive easily.
I've used my truck, loaners and some rentals. I always can't wait to get back into my Audi. Enjoy!!

Very nice!! I envy your exterior color. Did you "NEED" to redo the brakes or was that a precautionary maintenance item?
I am having Ceramic Pro paint protection applied (same as I had on a black 'vette and loved it). Do you really think the Suntek on top of coating product is necessary?

um...not sure I get the "offense" issue with the other poster but either way, the car is stunning and I hope you enjoy the hell out of it.

Just my little off center sense of humor. The D4 A8l was on my "bucket list". I have looked at them on showrooms and online for years. I had to even take out a home equity loan to make up part of the money. I'm not sure how many more months I'll even be able to drive, but
Let say,,I'm not saving any tire rubber or brake pads. I'm enjoying every mile as long as I'm able. Just to clarify the offense/ good health comment.
Ps... Also at 6' 185lb the A8L with easy entry/exit along with the comfort setting for steering and shocks , it's the only car I can drive comfortably for hours.
