I just picked up an absolutely beautiful’16 S8 Plus and had it shipped from CA. The car is in great condition and I really like it.
Last night I got into the car and pressed the Night Vision button and immediately got a “Night Vision: System Fault” error on the dash. This morning I plugged in my VCDS and the error code that was there was
4107 - No Basic Setting
I tried to clear the code and the first couple of times it came back immediately. Then one time the code cleared so I tried Night Vision. It initialized put an image on the dash for about 2 seconds and then popped the “Night Vision: System Fault” on the dash. VCDS showed the same error of No Basic Setting. When I tried to go into Basic settings in VCDS, anything I did there failed as well. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have thoughts on what the issue might be?
