Default Passenger Airbag Off Light

I have a 2015 A8L. When there is no passenger in the front passenger seat - The "Passenger Airbag Off" light is illuminated. I want to find a way to make that not light up. I search around and found some oinfo on other Audi models by popping of the button and pulling out the switch and then putting some electrical tape on it so the light did not bass through the switch. Has any one had success with something like that with the a D4? Can that light be turned off with the VAG ? I don't want to disable the airbag -- just don;lt want that light to be on when no one is sitting there. Thanks

It's set this way for safety purposes.

The light is annoying at night, it's the brightest one there.

Thanks Audinut

When you start the car in Driver Information area it tells you if the passenger seat airbag is on or off. That is good enough for me.
So if anyone has had any luck making it so the light does not shine through the button when the airbag is off -- I'd love to hear about it.

The safety concern would be if you had a package or something on the passenger seat and this tricked to the car to turn on the airbag. In an accident this could easily maim the driver. The other concern is if there was a malfunction and you have a passenger in the seat but the airbag stays off.

if there is a malfunction and ANY of the airbags is 'off'' the "AIRBAG" display will show in the instrument cluster. And if there is a package on the pass seat that could somehow trick the sophisticated sensors into believing there is an *** on the seat, and if then the car is then involved in a frontal crash that would ignite the airbag the package is going to go FORWARD into the dash because the 'passenger' wouldn't be wearing a seat belt...hence no maiming of the driver.
