Passenger seat squeezes when i start the car
Hey everyone, my front passenger seat on my 2014 S8 squeezes as if it’s sensing an imminent collision when I start the car up. It’s really strange, has anyone else had this problem? My wife calls it out constantly when she’s riding with me and it’s annoying.

Mine does that as well. I think it just returns to the last setting for the passenger seat. The bolsters and lumbar return to neutral when the car is switched off.

You can set those seat support settings when you set the seat memory. The procedure can be found in the operating manual online at the Audi website, under My Audi.

Yep, just set the amount of support that is pumped up/in when you have it memorize the rest of the seat settings. Then when it does its pumping thing it just goes back to what you chose/had it memorize to start with. The memory is also specific to key IIRC, so if you just throw your car key(s) into the community chest/box, it may give you the spousal unit settings. In that case, I program all the keys to the same settings, and then use the 1 and 2 buttons on the door, with 1 being the perceived primary driver of the given vehicle.
