I have a 2011 A8 and the front passenger side center armrest is stuck all the way down. The lid opens just fine and the button does function, in that is engages the inside "lever" that is supposed to push the small flush button to disengage the latch/lock or whatever is inside. However, it does not actually release.

With the armrest open, I took a small screwdriver to manually press the "hidden" button but it does not release the mechanism to allow the armrest to glide upwards.

Any suggestions or removal/repair guides around?
