Yeah, just pop the old ones out with something flat, unplug, replay and push it back in. Like a 15 second ordeal per door.

i used to have something similar for my infiniti and they said these things fade with time. wonder if it is the same case here.

Absolutely in my experience when it comes to the cheap knock offs. If you do all four doors you soon notice that the driver side will fade and get discolored.

Regarding OEM, I can't comment on their longevity since I've never had them but they are significantly crisper in terms of the image they project.

The difference in pricing...the OEM ones are at least $160 (cheapest I found online, someone said $210 from the dealer?) and the knock-offs are about 10% of the OEM price; I paid $31 including shipping for a set of 4 just yesterday. I've sprung for the knock-offs, just to see what they look like. Unless they're absolutely terrible, I'll probably just roll with it.
