Is there any way to turn off stop start permanently? I keep switching it off when I get in but could do without that if possible

I am not sure if the previous owner did a software update via VCDS, but mine remains off after restarting the car.

OK, so keen to get the kit to do this sort of thing to my car. Any suggestions on kit to get without breaking the bank?

My 2014 has a button on the dash to turn it on and off.

You need to find someone or a repair shop that has the VDCS software. The change take a few minutes
