the tweaks that worked all happened on the first time. Not sure why the windows are giving me trouble.
Also, can anyone confirm that the lap timer works on the 3.0TFSI A8s? I've seen it done on the A6s as well as the 4.0T A8s

Interesting that I don't see turning off the "soundaktor" mentioned in this thread. Always something I do in my first wave of VCDS tweaks now. I find the added feature of structure borne sound more than just a little fake and prefer whatever the car provides "naturally." YMMV 
Installed 2 tab > A9 Structurally Borne Sound > > Adaptation > Default volume = 100% > set new value for % to desired value

I have a 2018 S8 Plus, I made the lap timer screen shows up, but I don't know why, the gear shift indicator won't show up in that screen when I put it into M mode. And there is nothing change in the HUD (no oild temp., no gear shift indicator). Anyone know what's wrong with my car?
Also, may I know if I could do some coding in VCDS to let the car lock from outside with the key or the KEYLESS button while the engine is runing.

I am interested in modifying the behavior of my 2016 Audi S8 Plus and was looking to get affirmation that my desired modifications are possible. I purchased the VCDS HEX-V2 today for the job.
Based on this forum, I can see that these items can be modified (and I already have the instructions to do so):
*Extended run time for massaging seats
*Open/close windows with remote
*Disable driver's seat chime
*Enable adaptive brake lights
*Disable NAV/Phone warning messages while entering data at speed
What about these options?
*Auto-high beams on by default
*Close trunk with interior switch, remote and/or foot motion
*Forget settings for HVAC, heated seats, radio, etc. (return everything to default when car is restarted)
Is there a list of available modifications? I've searched several different forums and haven't had any luck locating a comprehensive list.

Anybody? I recieved MY HEX-V2 today and completed a couple of the adjustments (disable seatbelt chime, enable adaptive brake lights, etc.). What about the other options I listed in the previous posts? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
