Default warranty question

So, my braking guard and acc are "unavailable" 2015 A8L, with 8k. Being told it needs an alignment and the service dept. wants to charge me $675 for the 5 hours they claim it takes. I'm stunned that it might not be covered under warranty. Needless to say I'm kinda in their face about it...details to follow

Yeah, I had no luck with them covering an alignment. Out of pocket. Hit anything at speed recently? Big potholes, curb, or the like? That's awful soon for anything to be out of alignment normally.

Not a wheel alignment. An ACC alignment. Design defect if you ask me. 8k and it needs an alignment? Bad engineering

I wasn't referring to a wheel alignment. My dealer said they couldn't cover an ACC alignment. A frontal impact of any kind with the bumper, like bouncing it of the pavement or a raccoon, can knock all sorts of things loose. Even the hard rattling a big pothole can cause at speed can throw off things. These cars are low enough, especially if you've lowered it further via VCDS, that it's not especially hard to hit that front.
