Default Will a Lowering Module Void My CPO Warranty

I have some wheels on order and will probably lower my 16 A8L via Cete Lowering Module. Will the module be detectable if I have to bring my car in to the dealer for maintenance work or whatever?

The module won’t be physically easy to spot. If the dealership is mod friendly probably not a worry if you aren’t lowered a large amount. If it’s a dealership that isn’t so mod friendly there is a bypass plug included. You place that in place of the module and it’s as if the car is not modified.

Cheers,

Cool, I was mainly scared that a red flag or something would show if they hooked my car up for diagnostics or something. I'd probably raise it up so it's not so obvious if I have to bring it in for service.

A manufacturer can only void a warranty for mods affecting related parts. Thus, yes expect things like your air struts, front sway bar links and upper control arms could be questioned if a warranty issue comes up. Those aren't that common, and quite unusual on air struts for one still under factory warranty. But as pointed out, the mod can be overcome anyway so hard to find. Mod is also irrelevant to the more common drivetrain or electrical or electronic systems stuff. By contrast, if you tune a 4.0T ECU and the turbos go poof, expect even if there are known factory issues on 4.0T set ups, they will void the engine + turbo warranty and you would not be able to back the tune out once the problem strikes.
