Hi, im at the great neck area and the A8's just arrived accordiing to an email i received by Biener Audi.
They get their cars from the Port of Davisville.
Their website also show the A8's availability.

Same here...Vesuvius Gray was my choice along with the Sarder Brown interior. Mine didn't arrive today so I hope it shows up next week while I'm on the road.

That spare tire makes me so happy. Can you tell I despise Mercedes' decision to use friggin run flats?

Interesting fact. B&O Advanced 3D sound system on the A6 = spare tire delete. On the A8, the spare tire is still there!!!

The gasoline particulate filter is something that I hope does not exist on this A8. I know Audi/VW is committed to adding them to ALL cars post dieselgate, but if the diesel particulate filter experience is similar to the gasoline one, let's just say none of us want to be stuck one day having to replace one of those super expensive parts as Audi has no emissions specific warranty, that I can find, that exists on several other cars post the 4 year 50,000 mile warranty.
