Default Audi Canada Connect Functionality

FYI from Audi Canada about functionality/plans etc.

Firstly, we would like to inform you that we do not have any type of subscription services for cellular data that comes with the purchase of a new vehicle. Also, the SIM slot is used to establish an online data connection for Audi connect, Wi-Fi hotspot and to use as a telephone. However, while the North American vehicles are equipped with a universal faceplate, the SIM card slot on our vehicles is not active as the features are not available in the Canadian market. We are open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Eastern Standard Time.
