Yes it can be subjective. I expect a cloudy ride from cars of this class (A8, s-class, 7 series) by harsh I am thinking unsettled cabin or too much of the bumps transferred to cabin because of the low profile tires. Also can you please confirm your tires are also on the 21" wheels? Wasn't sure if you mean you have the same Goodyear tires or you have this exact same setup with 21" wheels.

The air suspension does a great job absorbing bumps and such. Yes my tires are 21's.

I have these wheels/tires on my '23 A8L. I love the look of them, but have been surprised by the lack of refinement/comfort in day-to-day driving (a bit unsettled, especially over expansion joints or broken pavement). Noise level isn't an issue but it's not the dreamy float you'd necessarily think in a car like this.

Thanks for this. A bit too late as I already pulled the trigger and bought the car, waiting for it to be delivered I also love their look! the lack of refinement sucks though but I hope everything else about the car would make up for this

Boys, it's not the tires. It's the size of the rim. This is the problem with larger wheels. Some OEMs will make the suspension super soft to accommodate bigger rims but save an active anti roll bar the cars just drive even more so like boats. If you think the A8 is a boat, try the S class.

size of the rim is a factor but in this case, biggest factor is too short of a sidewall. They should have gone with 1" more sidewall and would have been fine. This thing has less sidewall than my Cayenne with 22 inch wheels. Don't understand how they decided on this aspect ratio.
