Default Interesting "data" for oil levels

MMI doesn't show exact values for oil levels and post a dealer visit I wanted to drain some oil. It was extracted this time and it's clear less oil comes out vs a gravity drain (dealer fills in the same amount of oil each time so that's a controlled variable).

Anyway, here you go. Some data points. I was totally a**** and drained + refilled a few times to get near 100% If you use OBD11, you can get a much better understanding of the total oil level fill. Note I have no idea what test method 1, 2, 3 are but they're not live. They update maybe like every 5 minutes or something. Interestingly enough total mass of fuel/alcohol in oil ended up at 0g after about 20 minutes. As such, a cold start dumps in quite a bit of fuel into the system but it all evaporates. Hence why short trips in the winter are really bad.

It seems 85ml is "full" for the EA839 engine.

Interesting. I wonder why there is a variance in the percentage levels in the screen shots.

That I don't know, but what is also fairly interesting is the tolerance. Post service I was at 109% and there is a warning in the MMI that will be thrown if the engine oil level is too high (it never went off). I guess Audi accounted for variances for overfilling...

Here I am trying to get it to 100.0%. I'm not German, I swear
