A6 beeping while driving -no warning light
Any help guys?
My 1996 A6 starts beeping after driving about 5 kilometers. First just *beep*beep*beep*beep... and after a while a constant beep.
No warning lights are light. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Is the speed warning set? Easy to do accidentally. Should have some kind of indicator in the display. If you turn the ignition on..and do not engage the starter. Press the button that is between the tach and coolant temp gauge. there should be a scrolling display now in the dash cluster..symbols relating to washer fluid, battery, oil can etc. Once it goes through the scroll..it says: OK...
