Default AC problems need advise

ok i have a 1992 100 and the problem i have is the AC will take a full charge and blow cold for about a week or two then after that amount of time the compressor will kick in but blow warm, then finally after about 3 weeks the compressor will not come back on because it is out of fluid. Checked all the line and not a damn leak and replaced the o rings, can this be just a bad compressor?????

Default What method are you using to check for leaks? If it takes two weeks to lose all the freon then there

is a good chance you have a leak. @ this rate off loss you'r leak may not be a visible one. Keep in mind a compressor will not come on if there is no freon in the system, and leaks are not always visible. Are you still on 12 or has your car had a retrofit? You really need a wand that detects freon for reliable results. You mentioned you changed the o-rings. If you opened the system, you need to evacuate it. This is a must. If you are DIY and have no access to a wand, I would have to suggest dye. I may be wrong, but I would bet you have a leak somewhere. This is based on the compressor shutting down after it starts blowing warm.
