Am I the only one that hates cleaning the area by the trunk hinge?
what was VAG thinking when they designed that hinge mechanism..
you can't hose it down cause you'll fill the trunk with water.. and you can't get your fingers under the damm thing to glean all the gunk and leaves out...

other than the cleaning issue,i think the design is genius.
i know that area is a bitch to clean.but if you take your time to clean it very well just once. it will be a snap to just perioodically wipe any dust or leaves to keep it clean.
so other than that im impressed with that hinge design. it is really useful the way that mechanism "folds" the trunk away like it does.
