Any way to tell which O2 sensor is bad?
I called Shokan to order a O2 sensor for my 96 A6Q and they asked me if I knew which one of the four sensors was faulty. They told me that the fronts and rears are different and I would have to order the correct one. Any way to tell? Do all of them tend to go out at the same time? Should I just order 4 and do them all at once?
Thanks,
Dave

easier way
There is an easier way, you use an analog (one with a needle) volt meter and put it across the O2 leads. I can't remember if you put it on Ohms or measure voltage, but you do it when the car is cold and watch how much the needle swings as the car warms up.
I'm sure someoen else knows for certain about the details.

I never heard of rear sensors go bad.
99%, you will need to replace front sensors. And you need to replace them as a pair. So just get two "three wire" sensors and call me when you get them.
