Anyone with access to a Bentley? Where's the Avant's fuel pump hatch?
As per my thread below, I'm trying to find out how to get to the fuel pump in a 100 C4 Q Avant. From what I could see under the carpet in the trunk, I found no access. I also found no access under the rear seat. So, where is it?

Its under the floor covering, right side, where the fuel tank protrudes upward....
(the high point of the tank). You should see the round access cover forward of the spare tire recess, behind the read seat.

Re: Its under the floor covering, right side, where the fuel tank protrudes upward....
Does the carpet simply lift up? I pulled out the spare tire and everything and started to pull up on the carpet from the left-most corner (by the left tail light)... However, about half-way, the carpet started to rip and it seemed it was glued down or something. Are there any screws or anything to remove on the Avant to get the carpet completely out? Is it possible to simply fold the seat back down and raise the carpet from that edge (right behind the seat)?

Since I've not had any problems my the fuel pump, I don't know exact how to access it. ETKA ..
doesn't illustrate how the rear cargo linings are attached, but it doesn't show any screws or fasteners either.

In my 98 C4 avant, there are two parts to the carpet. The spare well area and a separate piece that
covers the hump between the forward part of the spare well area and the back seat. Your's should be the same.
If you have ETKA, I am told that the piece you are looking for is Item 1 in Illustration 863-90, A6Q, 1997, MG 8, SG 63.
