Audi Repairs near Phila, PA???
I need to have someone fix the climate control on my 92 100CSQ Wagon. Not sure if it is the controller or the motors. I would rather not take it to the dealer. Any shops around Phila that can be recomended?
Thanks

self fix
blowing cold air all the time? no heat? after the engine is warm, try running the temp all the way to high, back to low. do it a dozen times.
the climate control has a flap controlled by a motor. the flap opens and closes letting in some cold or hot, depending on what you have it set at. sometimes that motor gets stuck.
another way is to get at the heater program controller and turn the **** to manually move the flapper motor. i did that on an older audi. it was behind the glove box. on my 92, i haven't had to turn the **** but a couple times it didn't seem like it was blowing warm and i ran the temp up and down, which apparently corrected it.

Re: self fix
The temp flap control motor is under the hood. I did not see an external **** to turn. Not only do I not have temp control, but I don't have vent control.
