What kind of ATF was put in?
Was it a recommended type, i.e. Pentosin ATF1 or a Dexron II? Was the fluid level confirmed to be full. Should fill with engine running and up to temperature. Fluid should start running out the port. If there's not quite enough fluid in there, it will jerk on shifting.

but you do need a Bentley repair manual to show you which bolts to remove and which not to touch.
The real question is, what leads you to suspect the valve body? The $70 you'd spend on a repair manual could save you lots of time and $$ by showing you the procedure for testing and troubleshooting your transmission (and all the other problems you've been posting about.)<ul><li><a href="http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=ac45">http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=ac45</a</li></ul>
