Default brake arning light

the brake icon comes on intermittently, especially if it is very cold or wet or both. i understand this to be one of my pad warning sensors, but can't find a frayed wire, etc. is there any way to tell which wheel it is coming from with the diagnostics?

92 100 cs 178k

i love this car, but lots of stuff happening since it hit about 150.

cough yp $25 or so and get some new pads at a discount from an online store like partsbin.com.
This should fix the problem, sounds like a bad sensor. You can't buy just the sensor as far as i know so buying new pads is the logical fix.

I had the same problem, did all sorts of testing. Couldnt find a problem. Eventually gave the connectors a squirt of WD-40 (cleaner/lube), no problems since then.

Default Can you disconect the sensor and measure the resistance of the sensor. It should be very low.

And of cause clean the connectors.
