Can Mintek Redbox brake pads cause rotors to warp?
That is what my local Audi dealer is telling me. I had Mintek pads put on the front and the rotors replaced about 12,000 miles and 12 months ago. The dealer has replaced the warped rotors twice already and they are warped again. They are telling me that the "aftermarket" brake pads are causing the problem. They want $240 to install new factory front brake pads and then will warranty the whole system for another 12 months. It sounds like B.S. to me but the rotors never warped this often before the Minteks were installed. I guess I'll be signing up for that excessive factory brake dust again.

It's not quite the same, but I have heard the increased friction in EBC greenstuff pads, can easy warp rotors, while driving hard.
It does seem likely that while your pads resist fading better, they are mutch harder on the rotors, causing the rotors to get hotter, than they would with normal fading pads.. If you have been standing in the side at a steep mountain road at night, you might have seen truckers coming down the road, with red glowing brakes, the racing pads might induce a similar condition on your car I guess.
